The Words of My Teacher Ring in My Head

“You are eager, and anticipate great things, that is good–God has made you sensitive to His Spirit–and each one of you will grow in the knowledge of Christ, each one in his purposed time.

Therefore, in your seeking, guard your heart; that it does not harbor any ambitions of its own.  These will blind you from the truth and burden you with fruitless anxieties.

Likewise, as you grow, guard your heart from jealousies of one another.  Do all you do in submission to God with humility of mind and the utmost reverence before Him.  Bitter jealousies will dull the senses which God uses to speak to you, making your unity with the Spirit dull and vague as well.

In all you say and do, let it be from God.  Stay watchful, alert, sober; all you need do is listen, receive and obey.”

Where We’re At…

Now that the Great Task has been accomplished by the greatest of all servants, Christ the King Eternal, those who are privileged to serve Yahweh in Christ are freed and empowered to do anything in submission to God.

The saints are no longer bound by anything of this world, but as they are still in it, they have been given power, through God’s Spirit, to do as Christ did: to transform the things of this world into their redemptive submission to God, that others may likewise be freed to the full capacity that is offered in Christ.

The Spirit reveals all things that this may be accomplished.  But neither the vision, nor its fulfillment will be seen alone.  There must be perfect unity, together in Christ.

Bitter jealousies and selfish ambitions must be altogether removed from our presence by joining together, as the broken vessels we are, as one body, fully submitting to God; pressing–with all, faith; with all, hope; and with all, love–toward the fulfillment of God’s complete plan of redemption.
